Question 1:In description: batteries are sealed & not replaceable. . in product info: 2 aa required (included). if solar then why need batteries?
Answer: Solar lights use batteries in this way, during the day the sunshine recharges the batteries so they light up at night. I have these lights and they are beautiful.
Question 2:Do lights turn on/off by themselves or must they be set by hand?

They are beautiful. I recarried by day and at night I put it in the garden. I’m still testing and I don’t know if they’ll last all night, but I’m really pleased. The lights are pretty strong. Arrived pretty quick. I’m gonna buy more.
